Dear Students, Parents, and Friends of Barryton Elementary,

My name is Lynelle Inman-Crosby, Principal at Barryton Elementary.  This is my seventh year at Chippewa Hills School District with extra duties of district Preschool Director and MEAP Coordinator.  My background includes a total of 20 years in education.  

My husband Scott also works in education and we have three grown boys, Andy, Ryan and Brandon.  My hobbies involve my family, dog, and the MSU Spartans. 

I am pleased to introduce Mrs. Deb Baumann my secretary and assistant.  She has three grown children, five grandchildren, and is a proud lifetime resident of the Barryton area.

Barryton Elementary School was built in 1935.  It houses preschool through fifth grade and serves approximately 250 students.  The school day for students will be 7:30 AM to 2:27 PM.  The school building will open at 7:10 AM for student drop off.   

Our parents group is The Barryton Elementary Support Team (BEST).  We are constantly looking for new members with new ideas for our group.  BEST provides a wonderful service to the children by having Mommy/Son Movie Night, Daddy/Daughter Dance, and alternating 25¢ popcorn/snack Fridays.

The staff at Barryton Elementary are hard-working and dedicated to making a difference in your child's life. We also encourage parent involvement in both classroom and after school events.
