This light is found in the 1893 Light List, but not found in any I was able to look at until the 2000 Light List.

LOCATION: Near outer end of N pier at Pentwater, E side of Lake Michigan

CURRENT TOWER LIT: unknown

CURRENT USE: Active aid to navigation

FOUNDATION MATERIALS: Original --- wooden pier / Current --- concrete pier

LIGHTHOUSE MATERIALS: Steel

TOWER SHAPE: Circular (called a post in the 1893 Light List and listed as 17ft. tall)

COLOR(S)/MARKINGS/PATTERN: White

ORIGINAL LENS: Tub'lar lantern --- current lens is unknown, but this tower does include a foghorn.

NEAT CHARACTERISTICS: One of the few remaining pier range light systems on the Great Lakes.
