Academic Goals

Math:  All students will improve in geometrical concepts and measurement.
-Identify and compare basic geometric shapes and attributes.
-Learn and use formulas to calculate area and perimeter of squares, rectangles and triangles.

Reading:  All students will improve comprehension skills across the curriculum.
-Use comprehension strategies.
-Compare and contrast within/across texts.
-Use literary devices.

Writing:  All students will improve in writing (demonstrating the understanding of central ideas and supporting details while considering their audience and their purpose for writing, using an effective organizational pattern).
