The Scholastic Book Fair is at Weidman Elementary this week!

Students will have the opportunity to browse and purchase books during the school day. Every purchase helps support reading at Weidman and puts great books in the hands of our Warriors!

Today our Weidman Warriors powered up their reading skills during our special Read to a Hero Day! Students had the exciting opportunity to read alongside some of our amazing local heroes who serve and support our community every day.

From firefighters to law enforcement and community leaders, our heroes helped show students that strong readers become strong leaders!

Thank you to our local heroes for taking time out of your day to inspire our students and help them level up their reading skills!

Our Chippewa Hills Kindergarten Round-Up is on Monday, March 9 at all three of our elementary buildings! If your child will be starting kindergarten this fall, now is the time to call and reserve your Round-Up appointment.

Please note: Appointments are required to attend. Completing the enrollment form alone does not schedule your child. Families must call their elementary school to secure a time.

Just a reminder that our K.I.S.S. Dance (Kids Invite Someone Special) is happening this Friday, March 6 from 6:00–7:30 PM in the Chippewa Hills Middle School Gymnasium!

Students are invited to bring someone special: mom, dad, grandparent, aunt, uncle, family friend, or any special grown-up, to enjoy a fun night together on the dance floor! 🪩💃🕺

🌟 Dress Code? Keep it simple!
There’s no need to dress up, just wear something you think might glow under the lights! Neon colors, bright shirts, glow accessories…anything fun that will shine on the dance floor.

We can’t wait to see our Warriors glowing and having fun together! 💙❤️

REMINDER: Friday, February 20 is an Early Release Day! The High School and Middle School will be released at 12 PM. Elementary Schools are released at 12:15 PM.

Due to dense fog and ice, Chippewa Hills Schools are under a 3-hour delay this morning, January 19. The Little Warriors program will open at their usual time. Drive safe, Warriors!

Due to the loss of power at the High School and Middle School complex, students are being dismissed early. Dismissal at the high/middle school is currently underway and student drivers have been released. Due to transportation schedules, elementary students will be released approximately 15 minutes early. Buses will follow their normal routes. Thank you for your understanding.

Our awesome Warriors have been earnig tokens all year for showing positive behavior and living out our WARRIOR exptectations! Some students cashed their tokens in at our book vending machine for a brand-new book to keep forever. Nothing makes us happier than seeing students choose the gift of reading. Way to go Warriors! Keep leveling up!
