Chippewa Hills is proud to share that we are one of just 11 schools statewide to receive a Glassbrook Grant from the Michigan FFA Foundation!
For more than 30 years, Glassbrook Grants have supported schools across Michigan, helping bring agriculture, food, and natural resources education to life for K–12 students through hands-on learning opportunities. This year’s grants celebrate educators who embody FFA’s “doing to learn” motto, providing students with real-world experiences in one of Michigan’s largest industries.
Our agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, Ms. Spry, applied for the grant, which will fund new fencing, gates, and materials for our Ag barn. These improvements will allow students to work directly with livestock and other agricultural projects, gaining practical skills and hands-on learning opportunities that prepare them for future careers and leadership in agriculture.
Congratulations, Ms. Spry, and thank you to the Michigan FFA Foundation for investing in Chippewa Hills and supporting agricultural education!
