BOE extends superintendent contract

The Chippewa Hills Board of Education has unanimously voted to extend the contract of Superintendent Michelle Newman following her annual performance evaluation.

Ms. Newman received an Effective rating, the highest possible rating under Michigan's current superintendent evaluation system. The Board's decision reflects its confidence in her leadership and commitment to the continued success of the district.

"Superintendent Michelle Newman's effective evaluation reflects her strong leadership, commitment to student success, and dedication to the Chippewa Hills community," said Board President Anthony Gibson. "Over the past year, she has worked collaboratively with the Board, staff, students, and families to move our district forward while maintaining a focus on academic achievement, fiscal responsibility, and continuous improvement. I appreciate her efforts and look forward to working together to provide the best possible educational opportunities for our students."

The Board's unanimous vote to extend Ms. Newman's contract reflects its continued confidence in her leadership and its commitment to maintaining stability and momentum as Chippewa Hills continues to build on its successes.
