🎉Exciting news for our district — two brand new 2025 Thomas Built 77-Passenger Saf-T-Liner C2 school buses rolled in yesterday! 🚌
These state-of-the-art diesel buses, equipped with Cummins engines and Allison transmissions, are designed with student safety in mind from the inside out.
They feature First Light Safety Signs on the front and back, which are illuminated and reflective school bus signs that increase visibility to over 1,000 feet and help motorists recognize and react faster. These signs are always on when the bus is running, helping protect our most precious cargo.
Other upgrades include larger windows and windshields to improve visibility and reduce blind spots for our drivers.
A huge shoutout to our amazing transportation team for keeping our students safe and our fleet rolling forward! Check out the team with our beautiful new buses below!

🎨 Student Artists Shine at CSAA Collaborative Art Day! 🖌️
Last week, Chippewa Hills student artists joined their peers from across the CSAA conference for the Talent Review’s Collaborative Art Day—a celebration of creativity, connection, and collaboration.
Given only the words “roller coaster” and “spider web,” Hailey Christian, Lincoln Hillman, Myah Ayling, Sara Allen, and Alysa Kirkpatrick wove together a dreamscape collage that was equal parts whimsical, eerie, and brilliant.
The event was a powerful reminder of how ideas grow when students work together, stretch their imaginations, and express themselves through art.
Great work, Warriors!

🚌 Happy School Bus Driver Appreciation Day! 🚌
Today, we recognize all the incredible people who safely transport our students to and from school every single day. They are the first friendly face many of our students see each morning, and the last to wish them a good evening.
To all of our Chippewa Hills bus drivers, we want to say THANK YOU for your calm presence, your early mornings, your dedication, and your care. Thank you for keeping our schools running and for keeping our Warriors safe. We are so grateful for all of you!
Let’s flood our Warrior community with gratitude today—say thanks to a bus driver and let them know how much they’re appreciated! ❤️💙
