🎉 Celebrating Dawn Hawley 🎉
After 24 years of dedicated service to Chippewa Hills, we are proud to celebrate the retirement of Dawn Hawley, Mosaic School Principal and Chippewa Hills High School Assistant Principal.
Throughout her career, Dawn has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Director of Adult and Community Education and Intermediate School Assistant Principal, before becoming Assistant Principal at the high school in 2008. Her leadership has touched countless students, staff, and families across our district.
Dawn shared that what she will miss most is the people—students and staff who became more like family than colleagues. And one piece of advice she leaves behind? If you’ve never experienced a sunset at Warrior Stadium, you need to go.
She is most proud of her work with Mosaic School and the transformation it has made over the years to offer a truly unique alternative learning program. Watching students overcome obstacles and walk across the stage to receive their diplomas is something she will always carry with her.
Her words of wisdom are a reminder to all of us:
“Every day is a new day—embrace the opportunity for a fresh start. Remember to have some fun along the way… sing in the sunshine, dance in the rain, jump in the puddles, and make some memories.”
In retirement, Dawn plans to continue serving others while spending more time with her family, playing music with friends, and pursuing certification as a music practitioner.
Thank you, Dawn, for your leadership, passion, and commitment to our students and community. Your impact will continue to be felt for years to come.
Congratulations on your retirement and we wish you all the best as you begin your new chapter! ❤️💙
