❤️ Choosing Kind, Every Day 💙
Mecosta Elementary Peer to Peer students hosted Inclusivity Week last week, encouraging kindness, empathy, and connection throughout our school community. Activities included sitting with someone new at lunch, playing with different classmates at recess, writing compliments or drawing happy pictures for others, sharing something unique about themselves, and even trying to write with their non-dominant hand to build understanding and perspective.
The week concluded with a school-wide unity day, during which every student and staff member received a “We Are Warriors” bracelet delivered by Peer to Peer students.
The students said it best: “Choose kind, even when it’s hard.”
