Are you missing alerts from the CHSD app? Here’s how to fix it! We’ve heard from some of you who aren’t receiving notifications from the CHSD app. The good news? It’s usually a simple fix! Most of the time, the issue comes down to phone settings or outdated software – not the app itself. To ensure you’re staying informed with school updates, follow these quick steps: ✅ Check Your Phone’s Software – An outdated system can block notifications ✅ Enable Notifications for the CHSD App – Make sure the CHSD app has alerts turned on! ✅ Check Your In-App Notification Preferences – Double-check that you’re subscribed to the right schools and groups ✅ Make Sure You’re Receiving Rooms Notifications: If your teacher, coach, or advisor is using Rooms, you’ll get app notifications whenever they post – but only if notifications are enabled! ✅ Restart Your Phone – A simple restart can refresh your app connections and fix notification issues ✅ Reinstall the CHSD App – Try uninstalling and reinstalling the CHSD app to refresh your settings. You can read the full troubleshooting guide here: https://www.chsd.us/article/2096668 Thanks for using the CHSD app to stay connected with everything happening at Chippewa Hills!

📢 What is an EDP? And How Does Xello Help? 🎓 Parents, have you heard your student mention their Educational Development Plan (EDP) but aren’t quite sure what it is? We’ve got you covered! An EDP is a roadmap for students, helping them explore careers, set goals, and plan for their future—whether that’s college, trade school, the military, or the workforce. It’s a tool that grows with them as they discover new interests and skills. At Chippewa Hills, we use Xello, an engaging online program that helps students: ✅ Explore careers that match their skills & interests ✅ Set academic & personal goals ✅ Plan high school courses that align with their future plans ✅ Learn about college, apprenticeships, and job opportunities Xello is used throughout middle and high school, and students update their EDP regularly as they grow and their goals evolve. High school parents: EDPs are due by March 27! This is a great time to sit down with your student and go through their Xello profile together. Ask about their goals, explore career matches, and help them choose next year’s classes! Need help? Students can access Xello anytime through the Student Resources section of our website: https://www.chsd.us/o/chhs/page/counseling-office-student-resources. Our High School Counseling Office is also available to answer questions!
