Congratulations to our Warrior Athletes of the Week: Leah Storey and Hunter Howard! Leah Story is a junior on the Varsity Cross Country team. She had a big PR at the first CSAA Red Conference Jamboree at Grant last week, helping her team place first in the conference! Senior Hunter Howard is a member of the Varsity Volleyball team. She is always eager to learn and eager to help, and is a solid, consistent player on the court! She’s fun to watch and is a keynote athlete that her teammates look to help pick them up if they feel down. Congratulations Leah and Hunter!

It's a big day for Warrior Volleyball as Chippewa Hills hosts Big Rapids! Our Freshmen team starts the action with a 4 PM game, followed by the JV game at 5:30 PM, and the Varsity game at 7 PM. You've got this, Warriors!

Warriors in Action: Week of September 23 Today, Girls Golf competes in the CSAA Championship at 9:00 AM at The Links at Bowen Lake. Both our Boys and Girls Cross Country teams are competing today at the Grayling Invitational, which starts at 4:30 PM. Warrior Volleyball hosts Big Rapids tomorrow. The Freshmen team starts the action at 4:00 PM. The JV team takes the court at 5:30 PM with Varsity following at 7:00 PM. Thursday is a busy day for home events! First, Cross Country hosts the Hoka National 2-Mile event at 5:00 PM at Warrior Stadium. JV and Varsity Volleyball host Reed City with the JV game starting at 5:30 PM and Varsity at 7:00 PM. JV Football hosts White Cloud with game kickoff at 6:30 PM. Varsity Football heads to White Cloud on Friday for a 7:00 PM game. Then on Saturday, JV Volleyball hosts the Warrior Invitational starting at 8:30 AM. GO WARRIORS!

This week’s Warrior Athletes of the Week are Madison Allen and Tanner Carlson! Senior Madison Allen is a leader on the Varsity Girls Golf Team. She was a medalist (meaning she was the best golfer in the entire field) in the team’s last two events, shooting a 75 and 76. Madison led the team to a first-place victory at the Lakeview Lady Cat Invite. Tanner Carlson is a sophomore on the Varsity Boys Cross Country team. He had a huge race at the Spartan Invite at Michigan State University last week, moving up in the race and getting a nice PR! Congratulations, Madison and Tanner!

REMINDER: Monday, September 23 is an Early Release Day for students. The High School and Middle School will be released at 12:00 PM. Elementary Schools are released at 12:15 PM.

Our Middle School Athletes of the Week are McKenna Smith and Eli Dore! McKenna Smith is on the 8th grade volleyball team and is a leader both on and off the court. She is always trying to support the volleyball program and develop ALL students as athletes. She is a phenomenal player and works her hardest each and every practice! 8th grader Eli Dore is a member of the Middle School Boys Cross Country team. He was nominated by his coach because he has been a great leader on the team this season. Way to go, McKenna and Eli!

🏐🏈 GAME DAY! 🏈🏐 Both our Freshmen Volleyball and JV Football teams are playing at home today! Freshmen Volleyball is hosting a quad match with Big Rapids, Grant, and Kent City starting at 4 PM. Games will be held in both the High School and Middle School gyms. JV Football hosts Big Rapids at Warrior Stadium with kickoff at 6:30 PM. Good luck, Warriors!

Then on Friday, Varsity Football heads to Big Rapids for a 7:00 PM kickoff. GO WARRIORS!

This week’s Warrior Athletes of the Week are Austin Humphrey and Myah Ayling! Austin is a dominant force on the Varsity Football team. At last week’s game he had 10 catches, ran 130 yards, and scored 2 touchdowns! Myah is on the JV Volleyball team and works hard during practice and games. She is always asking questions on how to improve her skills and to learn more about the game. She is a great teammate and holds herself and her team to a high standard. Congratulations Austin and Myah!

HAPPY HOMECOMING, WARRIORS! We’re hosting Central Montcalm for tonight’s Homecoming Game! Kickoff is at 7 PM at Warrior Stadium. It’s going to be a gorgeous night for a game! Bring the whole family – we have lots of fun and great food planned for tonight! Remember, all Chippewa Hills students get FREE admission. Children ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. 8th grade Volleyball player Valeree Miller is this week’s Middle School Athlete of the Week! She’s been working extremely hard at practice, has a great attitude, and has definitely been a leader on the court! Way to go, Valeree!

WARRIORS WIN! The Lady Warriors Golf team brought home the first-place trophy today at the Lakeview Lady Cats invitational! Senior Madison Allen and Junior Erin Riesenberg both earned a spot in the top 5 finishers. VOLLYBALL DAY! All three of our Volleyball teams are in action today as Chippewa Hills hosts Grant! The Freshman team gets things started at 4:00 PM, with the JV team following at 5:30 PM. The Lady Warriors Golf Team took 2nd place at the CSAA match at Katke Golf Course today! Senior Madison Allen took first place and shot a career best of 75! Great job, ladies!

JV and Varsity Volleyball host Tri County with those games starting at 5:30 PM and 7 PM, respectively. JV Football heads to Central Montcalm for a 6:30 PM kickoff. Then on Friday, Cross Country competes in the MSU Spartan Invitational with the boys’ team racing at 11:50 AM and the girls running at 12:55 PM. Meet Julion Cullen, last week’s Middle School Athlete of the Week! Julion is a member of the Middle School Cross Country team. He worked super hard all summer and ran a 3-minute PR at the Shepherd Invitational last Wednesday! Way to go, Julion!
