Our Summer Feeding program begins today!
We will be handing out 7-day food bags at Barryton, Mecosta, and Weidman Elementary each Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Food bags can also be picked up at our Middle School loading dock every Wednesday from 4-6 PM.
These meals are available to all children 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.

Our Warrior Wellness Center is seeking volunteers to serve on its Community Advisory Council!
The Community Advisory Council is made up of parents, school staff, healthcare professionals, social workers, and more! This group oversees the vision and goals of our school wellness program. Council members are only required to attend a minimum of 2 meetings per year.
If you’re interested in joining the Community Advisory Council, please attend the next Council meeting on Wednesday, May 29 at 3:15 in the High School Media Center.

We want to inform the Warrior community that an incident occurred today involving bus 21-1, the brown bus out of Weidman, where a windshield shattered due to a rock that flew off a semi-truck. Fortunately, there were no injuries to any students or staff onboard. Our priority is always the safety and well-being of our passengers, and we want to commend our drivers for their swift and professional response in ensuring everyone remained safe. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Our May Board of Education Meeting is tonight at 6 PM in the High School Media Center.

The Mobile Vaccine Clinic will be touring the District on these dates:
- Monday, June 10: Mecosta Elementary, 10AM-3PM
- Tuesday, June 11: Remus Mosaic School, 10AM-3PM
- Wednesday, June 12: Weidman Elementary, 10AM-3PM
- Thursday, June 13: Barryton Elementary, 10AM-3PM
All Chippewa Hills District residents between the ages of 5-21 are eligible to participate. There are no out of pocket costs as all vaccines will be billed to your insurance or are free.

The month of May truly underscores the important role our bus drivers play in the daily operations of our district. On top of the day-to-day transportation, our drivers are incredibly busy taking our students to all their field trips and sporting events as well. With a district that covers such a large geographical area, our need for drivers never ends!
