School-based health centers help keep students healthy, in class, and ready to learn.
Let’s celebrate the impact of the Chippewa Hills Wellness Center and the amazing professionals who care for our Warriors every day! 💙❤️

Our Warriors are aging fast across the district!
Mrs. Tice’s 2nd graders at Mecosta Elementary celebrated the 100-day milestone yesterday by turning 100 years old! Students took their “senior” pictures using an age filter and did a creative writing project describing their life at 100 years old.
We are loving all the fun and creative ways our teachers and students celebrated the 100th day of school yesterday (even if it means a few extra wrinkles)!

🎉💯 100 DAYS SMARTER! 💯🎉
100 days of school turned our Weidman Elementary 3rd graders into 100-year-old scholars! Mrs. Hampel and Mrs. Werner gave their students a sneak peek at their future selves thanks to a fun age filter.
Check out these aged-to-perfection Warriors and celebrate 100 days of learning, laughter, and growth!
They sure do grow up fast! 👵👴

SAVE THE DATE! Kindergarten Round-Up will be on Friday, March 21 at all three of our elementary schools!
Parents, please call to schedule an appointment at the elementary school you wish to enroll your child in for next year. Please bring the following to your appointment: child’s birth certificate, child’s immunization record, parent/guardian’s proof of residency, and your child!
We can't wait to meet our newest Warriors!

💌❤️ Little Warriors with Big Hearts! ❤️💌
Our Weidman Little Warriors made special Valentine’s Day cards for the residents of Isabella County Medical Care Facility and Heartland Hospice to share love and brighten their day!
Their sweetness and generosity make our community brighter. Keep shining, Little Warriors! ❤️💙

🌟 Big News from Chippewa Hills FFA! 🌟
Last night, 7th grader Evelyn Young competed in the FFA Creed Contest at the FFA District Competition in Fremont. She took home FIRST PLACE with a gold rating!
This also marks a special milestone as it’s the first time Chippewa Hills had middle school students competing!
So, what is the FFA Creed Contest? It’s a competition where FFA members recite the five-paragraph FFA Creed, a powerful statement about the values of agriculture, leadership, and hard work. Contestants must memorize the Creed and answer questions about its meaning—showcasing their confidence, public speaking skills, and passion for FFA.
Evelyn’s journey isn’t over yet! She’s advancing to Regionals in Lowell on February 12th and we couldn’t be prouder.
Congratulations and good luck, Evelyn! Warrior Nation is rooting for you! 💙❤️

🎶 Warrior Musicians Shine at Honors Band! 🎶
Earlier this week, seven of our Warrior band students had the incredible opportunity to perform under the direction of Randall Standridge—the Dan Campbell of the band world! 🏈🎺 If you know, you know—he’s a big deal!
Standridge led an elite group of 131 high school band students from 23 schools in an all-day rehearsal before an unforgettable performance at Big Rapids High School. Known for his internationally performed compositions and his powerful "unBroken Project" on mental health awareness, he brought energy, passion, and inspiration to the students.
Huge congratulations to our Warriors for representing Chippewa Hills with pride!

January is School Board Appreciation Month, and we want to thank the incredible individuals who make up our Chippewa Hills Board of Education!
Our board members dedicate countless hours to ensure our students, staff, and schools have the resources and support needed to succeed.
Meet our Board Members:
- Sherry Anderson, Trustee
- Amanda Cornell, Treasurer
- Brenda Donley, Vice-President
- Julia Ezell, Secretary
- Tony Gibson, President
- Lionel MacKenzie, Trustee
- Brian Simon, Trustee
Please join us in thanking them for their service and commitment to our Warrior students and the Chippewa Hills community!

Attention, Warrior families: This morning, our fire alarms were activated at the secondary complex due to a science experiment that didn’t quite go as planned. Everyone is safe, and the situation was handled swiftly.
We’re taking this opportunity to applaud our students and staff for their quick and calm response during the fire drill. Great job, Warriors!

🐑 Meet our newest Warriors! 🐑
We’re excited to introduce three new lambs, born right here in our Ag barn this week! (Naturally, they wanted to make their introduction during an Arctic blast…🥶)
- Mom Athena welcomed twins, Bluey and Bingo 🐑🐑
- Mom Martha had a sweet lamb, Ellery 🐑
These new additions are a wonderful opportunity for our Agriculture students for hands-on learning about animal care and the life cycle. Ms. Spry’s 8th grade Ag students are helping to take care of the lambs as part of their class project.
A special thank you to our Chippewa Hills FFA for their support in growing our ag program and making this possible!
We are head over hooves for these sweet little lambs! 💕
