Huge shout out to Ross Snyder, one of our Warrior Athletes of the Week! Ross is a member of the Varsity Track team and his hard work has been paying off in the pole vault and long jump. Last weekend he won the pole vault at the Warrior Invitational with a height of 12’6” and also placed in the top 8 in the long jump.

Congratulations to Ella Grinnell, this week’s Middle School Warrior Athlete of the Week! Ella is a member of the MS Track team and was nominated by her coaches because she’s open to trying new events, putting in lots of hard work, and has a positive attitude with her teammates and coaches. Last week she tried the 200m for the first time and crushed it! She also had excellent races in the 100m and 4x100m relay.

Congratulations to Varsity Track athlete Hannah Abbott, who is one of our Warrior Athletes of the Week! Hannah had an awesome day at the Warrior Invitational last weekend where she took first place in both the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles. She also placed high in both the high jump and 4x100m relay!

The Warrior Golfers won the Warrior 2 Man Scramble at the Royal in Canadian Lakes yesterday!
Taking first place was the team of Cameron Morgan and Brandon Slasor with 69.
Tying for second were the teams of Tristan Maneke and Dylan Boerma, and Bode McArthur and Marcus Barnes. Both teams had 79.

Congratulations to our Warrior Wrestling State Champion, Natalie Gibson, who was honored at last night’s Board of Education meeting! Coach Vogel shared with the Board how Natalie pinned all four of her opponents at the State Finals so quickly, that she was technically in action on the mat for only 5 minutes and 55 seconds in total for the whole weekend!

Just a reminder that our High School Winter Sports Banquet is tomorrow, March 12, at 6:00 PM in the Middle School Gym. All high school fall sport athletes and their families are invited to attend.
The banquet will begin with dinner and an opening session in the gym. From there, each sport will break out into smaller groups for their own team recognition and awards.
