The Middle School School students and staff are attending the Hoops for Hunger event at Central Michigan University on Wednesday the 17th. Permission slips were handed out on Thursday the 11th. With all of the snow days, these were handed out later than anticipated, and we have a small window of time to get them back. You can find a copy of the permission slip below if your student was absent on Thursday or if they have misplaced it. We also created a Google Form version to try to get as many permission slips submitted by Tuesday as possible.

Chippewa Hills Schools will be closed on Monday, January 15. The Little Warriors Program will be closed as well. There will be no afternoon PD for teachers. Stay safe, Warriors!

REMINDER: Monday, January 15 is an early release day! The High School and Middle School will be released at 12:00 PM. Elementary schools will be released at 12:15 PM.
Based on the most recent National Weather Service projections and warnings, Chippewa Hills Schools will be closed tomorrow, January 12, 2024. This also includes Little Warriors. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause, but know that the safety of our students is of high priority and this is the best precaution we can take based on the information shared by the experts. The CHSD Warriors app is free on the Google Play or Apple App Store. As you are downloading the app, be sure to “Allow Notifications” when prompted.
From there, you can manage your notifications by going to Menu > Settings > Notification Preferences and selecting which Chip Hills buildings you want to receive updates from.

Chippewa Hills School District will be giving away 250 Christmas dinners to local families in need this Holiday Season.
Each dinner includes ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and a cookie. All meals will be pre-prepped, and are ready to heat and serve.

Meal pickup will be on Saturday, December 23 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM behind Chippewa Hills Middle School.

Free COVID test kits are available!
The MI Backpack Home Test program from the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services provides free, at-home COVID-19 test kits to students and staff in Michigan’s schools.
Each kit contains 2 at-home tests and are available for every student in the District. If you would like a kit, they are available for pick-up at your child’s school office during school hours.

We have our 7th and 8th grade Activity Afternoon scheduled for today after school from 3:15-5:00pm. Please make sure students who plan on attending have an arrangement to be picked up by 5:00pm. We have people scheduled right at 5:00 to start setting up for the Joe Lauren Wrestling Invitational taking place tomorrow.

Our High School National Honor Society will be collecting canned goods and non-perishable food items at our home varsity basketball games tomorrow! Any Chippewa Hills student that brings in 4 canned or non-perishable food items will get FREE admission!
