Come be part of the team that helps keep Chippewa Hills running strong!

February is National School-Based Health Care Awareness Month, and we’re proud to highlight the Chippewa Hills Wellness Center, a tremendous resource that brings care directly to our students.
Operated in partnership with District Health Department #10, the Wellness Center provides medical and mental health services right here on campus for Chippewa Hills students ages 5–21.
In a rural community like ours, where the nearest health services can be 30 minutes away, having access to care at school helps families avoid long drives, missed work, and lost class time — while ensuring students stay healthy and ready to learn.
The amazing team who run the clinic are:
🔹 Ashley Bewell, Mental Health Counselor
🔹 Krista Schafer, Clinic Assistant
🔹 Beckee Kibler, Family Nurse Practitioner
Getting started is easy! Just call 989-967-2290 to make an appointment. More information about the Warrior Wellness Center is available here: https://www.chsd.us/page/wellness-center
We are so grateful to have this caring team and valuable partnership to support the health and well-being of our Warriors every day! ❤️💙

We are proud to honor Deputy Ethan Beebe of the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department for the care, commitment, and positive presence he brings to Chippewa Hills each and every day.
Deputy Beebe does far more than help keep our schools safe — he builds meaningful relationships with our students, supports them through everyday moments, and serves as a trusted mentor throughout our buildings. His impact continues beyond the school day as the JV Girls Basketball Coach, where he works tirelessly to encourage, guide, and connect with his athletes both on and off the court.
Thank you, Deputy Beebe, for investing in our students, our schools, and our community. Your dedication makes a difference, and we are grateful to have you as part of our Warrior family. 💙❤️

Our 8th Grade Digital Media students had a special feature at Monday night’s Board of Education meeting!
The students created a video explaining the purpose of the Board of Education and how our district operates — from the communities we serve, to the number of students and staff in our schools, and how leadership flows from our staff to the Superintendent and ultimately to the Board.
We couldn’t be more proud of these students and the incredible job they did on this video! Excellent work, Warriors! 💙❤️

Students in Mrs. Kremsreiter’s high school French 1 class took their learning beyond the textbook with a Mardi Gras–inspired project. After researching a French-related topic, students designed and built shoebox floats that reflect French culture, traditions, and their own creativity.
Some of their creations include:
✨ Strasbourg’s Christmas traditions
✨ Marie Antoinette
✨ Les Schtroumpfs (The Smurfs!)
✨ Mont Saint-Michel
✨ Kylian Mbappé
This project brought together cultural learning, critical thinking, and hands-on design. We’re loving their finished projects!
C’est magnifique!

February is Love the Bus Month, and we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible people who keep our buses rolling every single day!
Our bus drivers and transportation team do far more than drive routes—they show up for kids, rain or shine. They’re the first smiles of the morning and the steady hands that get our Warriors home safely every day.
We’re incredibly grateful for our transportation team—and we’re also looking to grow it! If you (or someone you know) are interested in becoming a school bus driver, we’d love to have you join our Warrior family. Competitive pay, paid training, a flexible schedule, and the chance to make a real difference in students’ lives every day.

We’re excited to introduce Ruby, the newest addition to our Agriculture and FFA program! Ruby made her debut last weekend in the Ag Barn and has already completely stolen our hearts.
Ruby’s mom, Willow, is doing a wonderful job, with a little extra help from her Ag student caretakers. With her teeny-tiny mouth, Ruby initially had a bit of trouble latching on for feedings, so she’s been receiving some supplemental bottle feedings — which our Ag students were more than happy to help with. (Any excuse to spend time with Ruby is a good one! 🍼)
Even before Ruby arrived, Willow had some extra help during last week’s snow days — with Ms. Newman’s dog Louie and Ms. Spry’s dog Bernie tagging along for barn check-ins. 🐾
We’re happy to report that Ruby is doing much better now, bonding beautifully with her mama Willow and her “Aunt” Dolly, the other ewe in the barn.
Welcome to the Warrior family, Ruby! 🐑❤️💙

This weekend, several of our high school student-athletes traveled to Lansing to attend the MHSAA Women in Sports Leadership Conference—a powerful experience designed to inspire and empower female athletes both on and off the court and field.
Throughout the day, students participated in sessions focused on leadership, confidence and mindset, nutrition, goal-setting, and personal growth. The conference encourages young women to see themselves not just as athletes, but as leaders in their schools, teams, and communities.
The athletes who represented Chippewa Hills at this impactful event were: Dory Simon, Aeri Simon, Lexi Hatfield, Nicole Dagley, Frankie Fall, Ella Grinnell, Hannah Simon, and Ava Harris.
A special thank you to coaches Abby Hegyi and Jenna Odykirk for attending the conference with our group and for their continued support of leadership development in our student-athletes.
Way to lead, Warriors! 💙❤️
