🎃 Family Halloween Night: A Spooktacular Success! 🎃
What an incredible night! Over 1,600 people came to trick or treat through the haunted hallways of Chippewa Hills High School during our Family Halloween Night! 👻
A HUGE thank you to our High School Student Council for organizing this event, our FFA students for running the kids’ games in the cafeteria, and our entire high school student body and staff for transforming the school with amazing decorations. It is truly a building-wide effort to bring this annual event to life!
We also want to thank all of our elementary schools and the middle school for helping with the candy collection — and our families, businesses, and community supporters for donating candy and supporting this popular event. Your generosity helps keep this tradition going strong year after year.

🚌 School Bus Safety Week Reminder 🚌
Every day, our school buses safely transport hundreds of Chippewa Hills students — but we all share the responsibility to keep them safe on the road.
Here are a few important reminders for drivers this week (and every week):
🟡 Yellow flashing lights: Prepare to stop — the bus is getting ready to load or unload children.
🔴 Red flashing lights: Stop at least 20 feet away — children are crossing the road.
⚠️ Hazard lights: Proceed with caution — the bus is stopped, but not actively loading or unloading.
🚗 Always slow down near schools, neighborhoods, and bus stops.
👀 Stay alert for kids walking or biking, especially between parked cars or in bad weather.
Let’s all do our part to make sure our Warriors get to and from school safely!

🚌 National School Bus Safety Week 🚌
This week, we’re shining a spotlight on our incredible Chippewa Hills Transportation Team — the dedicated drivers, mechanics, and staff who work tirelessly to keep our Warriors safe on the road every single day.
Did you know?
🔹 Our buses cover 1,972 miles per day, which adds up to 9,860 miles every week —that’s like driving from Remus to Los Angeles and back… twice!
🔹 We make approximately 1,250 stops per day to load and unload students.
🔹 Our district spans 387 square miles, one of the largest in the state — making transportation a truly essential part of how we serve our students.
With that much ground to cover, school bus safety is everyone’s responsibility. Please remember to:
🔺 Slow down in school zones and near buses.
🔺 Stop when red lights are flashing.
🔺 Stay alert for children crossing the road.
A heartfelt thank you to our entire Transportation Department for their care, commitment, and long hours on the road — rain, shine, or snow. You make sure every Warrior arrives safely, and we couldn’t do it without you! ❤️💙
