Are you missing alerts from the CHSD app? Here’s how to fix it!
We’ve heard from some of you who aren’t receiving notifications from the CHSD app. The good news? It’s usually a simple fix! Most of the time, the issue comes down to phone settings or outdated software – not the app itself.
To ensure you’re staying informed with school updates, follow these quick steps:
✅ Check Your Phone’s Software – An outdated system can block notifications
✅ Enable Notifications for the CHSD App – Make sure the CHSD app has alerts turned on!
✅ Check Your In-App Notification Preferences – Double-check that you’re subscribed to the right schools and groups
✅ Make Sure You’re Receiving Rooms Notifications: If your teacher, coach, or advisor is using Rooms, you’ll get app notifications whenever they post – but only if notifications are enabled!
✅ Restart Your Phone – A simple restart can refresh your app connections and fix notification issues
✅ Reinstall the CHSD App – Try uninstalling and reinstalling the CHSD app to refresh your settings.

Thanks for using the CHSD app to stay connected with everything happening at Chippewa Hills!

✨ Reading is Magic at Chippewa Hills Middle School! ✨
Our Middle School is casting a spell for March is Reading Month with a magical Harry Potter-themed adventure! Welcome to the Reading is Magic: House Cup Reading Challenge, where each grade is sorted into a Hogwarts House. Students earn House Points by reading every day, and the House with the most points at the end of the month will win the coveted House Cup! 🏆
Throughout the month, students are immersed in fun, magical activities and themed days, all leading up to the epic Triwizard Tournament in a House versus House showdown!
Yesterday, students celebrated Polyjuice Potion Day, dressing up as twins to honor the potion’s magical effects. The highlight of the day was potions tasting during lunch, where students sampled Polyjuice potion, butterbeer, and pumpkin juice! It was an enchanted day filled with fun and flavor!
📖 Help us spread the magic of reading! We’re collecting new and gently-used books to fill our Middle School library with magical reads for students to enjoy. Donations will be acknowledged with a special sticker inside the book to honor your generosity! If you would like to help support this endeavor, please send in books or donations to the Middle School office.
Which House will claim the House Cup? You can follow along on the magical moments and fun on our Middle School’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057304245793

🔧✨ Happy National Maintenance Worker Appreciation Day! ✨🔧
Today, we recognize and celebrate the hardworking maintenance team that keeps our schools running smoothly every single day. From fixing leaks, to clearing snow, and making sure everything works as it should, these guys are some of the unsung heroes of Chippewa Hills!
Jody, Brian, Jim, and Carter – THANK YOU for everything you do! Your dedication, skill, and tireless effort makes a difference for every Warrior in the district!

🌟 Happy National SEL Week! 🌟
This week, we celebrate Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)—the skills that help students build strong relationships, manage emotions, and make responsible decisions. SEL plays a vital role in student success, both in and out of the classroom!
This year, our Middle School is focusing on gratitude as a key part of SEL Day. To bring this to life, our amazing school counselor, Mrs. Compson, created a Wall of Gratitude in the hallway, filled with heartfelt notes from students sharing what they’re thankful for.
Taking time to appreciate the good in our lives helps build a positive mindset, strengthen connections, and support overall well-being. What are YOU grateful for today? Drop a comment below and join us in celebrating #SELDay with gratitude!
