Introducing Website Wednesdays! We’re making lots of improvements on our Chippewa Hills website and within our CHSD Warriors app. Every Wednesday, we’ll showcase some of the new features on our website and show you where you can find valuable District information both online and in the district app.
This week, let’s talk about Rooms!
Parents, have you joined Rooms yet? Rooms is a new feature in the CHSD Warriors app that allows parents and guardians to stay up to date with classroom announcements and message with your student’s teachers.
If you have not received your invitation to join Rooms, or if you’re having trouble with your Rooms account, you can fill out the Rooms Request Form on our website or in the app.
The direct link to the form is: https://www.chsd.us/forms/chsd-app-rooms-request-form
The form can be found on our website from the District home page under District > CHSD Warriors App > Rooms Access. It can also be filled out on the app under the District page > Forms > CHSD App: Rooms Request Form.
Once we set up your account, we’ll email you an invitation to Rooms (the email comes from EduRooms). Just click on the link in that email to complete your account setup. From there, you’re good to go and you can log in to the Rooms portal in the CHSD Warriors app!

Our Middle Schoolers had fun with Surfer vs Biker Day yesterday!
Just a reminder that tomorrow is Picture Day for our Middle Schoolers!
Forms from Geskus Photography were previously sent home with students. Remember to send the detachable order portion of the form with your students tomorrow. Pictures can also be ordered online from the Geskus website using the code on your child's form.
Today was Twin Day for Spirit Week! Our Middle Schoolers are getting excited for Homecoming!
Tomorrow is Surfer vs Biker Day - dress like you're a surfer or have a motorcycle!
Mr. O’Neil’s art students had a fun treat today! Abby DeWall from DeWall’s Forge visited his classes and drew caricatures of all the students! Many of the Middle School staff joined in on the fun, too!
Abby is Mr. O’Neil’s daughter and we know the art skills are strong in that family!

COMING MONDAY: Say "hello" to parent-teacher chat and classroom announcements in the CHSD Warriors app with a new feature called Rooms! Now it's easier than ever to stay up-to-date with the district, schools, AND with your student's teachers and classes. On Monday, parents and guardians will receive a personalized invitation via text and email to create their login access to Rooms within the CHSD app.
If you haven't done so already, be sure to download the CHSD Warriors app to your phone. It's free in the Google Play and Apple App Store.
Warrior Pride Days are back again this year! Show your school spirit by wearing your Warriors gear or school colors every Friday!

WOW! We had such a great turn out at our 5th Grade Orientation last night! Thank you all for your patience and grace as we navigated this event. This was the first time our 5th graders had their own night, and we hope it helped ease some fears and anxiety about joining the middle school. We have already started talking about how we will make this event better next year! If you couldn't attend with your 5th grader last night, you are welcome to come to open house tonight with the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. This is a true "open house" format, so you can come anytime between 5:00 and 7:00. Again, thank you to our 5th grade families who joined us last night, and we look forward to seeing more students and their families tonight!
We hope to see our 5th Graders at Orientation tonight! This event starts at 6:15 and is NOT an open house style event. We hope that the majority of our 5th graders and their families can join us at 6:15 and stay through until the event ends at 7:45. This is our first time running 5th Grade Orientation, so bear with us! We are hoping this event eases some of the anxiety that transitioning from elementary to middle school can cause. See you tonight!

Exciting news! All Chippewa Hills students will now get FREE ADMISSION at all home athletics events!
Middle School and High School students must show their student ID. All students ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
