The Middle School office staff will be in the building until 6:00 PM today collecting registration paperwork. You can bring it in anytime, no appointments are needed! Students do not need to be present when dropping off paperwork. They will receive their schedules at 5th Grade Orientation on August 19th from 6:15-7:45 PM or at 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Open House on August 20th from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Schedule your child’s sports physical ASAP at the Chippewa Hills Wellness Center! The fall sports season kicks off August 12 and all athletes must have a completed physical BEFORE they can begin practice. The CHWC gets VERY busy right before the start of season and August appointment availability is already limited. The Wellness Center’s team is encouraging parents to schedule sports physicals during July to help alleviate the August rush.
ATTENTION ROCKET FOOTBALL & CHEER PARENTS: Sign up is next week and all 7th and 8th grade athletes MUST have a current physical in order to participate.

Our Summer Feeding program begins today!
We will be handing out 7-day food bags at Barryton, Mecosta, and Weidman Elementary each Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Food bags can also be picked up at our Middle School loading dock every Wednesday from 4-6 PM.
These meals are available to all children 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.
Please help spread the word!
REMINDER: Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 5 are half days and Wednesday is the last day of school! The High School and Middle School will be released at 12:00 PM. Elementary Schools will be released at 12:15 PM.

Our 5th Grade Wax Museum was a major success! The students did such an amazing job preparing and presenting their projects. Thank you to Mr. Boyle who organized such a great event!

Our very own Mr. Hepinstall received the Teacher of the Year Award from the State of Michigan! He has dedicated over 46 years to the education of Chippewa Hills students, and he is truly one of the most passionate educators you will ever meet! Thank you for all that you do, Mr. Hepinstall! Our Warrior Wellness Center is seeking volunteers to serve on its Community Advisory Council!
The Community Advisory Council is made up of parents, school staff, healthcare professionals, social workers, and more! This group oversees the vision and goals of our school wellness program. Council members are only required to attend a minimum of 2 meetings per year.
If you’re interested in joining the Community Advisory Council, please attend the next Council meeting on Wednesday, May 29 at 3:15 in the High School Media Center.
If you’re unable to attend the meeting in person, please email qgriffin@dhd10.org for a link to attend the meeting virtually.
