Our high schoolers have been crushing it with their positive Warrior behavior! On Monday students with zero behavior referrals this trimester were rewarded with a hot cocoa bar with all the fixings. ☕ This was our warm and cozy way of saying “thank you” for making our school such an awesome place to be! Your everyday choices matter, and we notice when you do the right thing! You rock, Warriors!

Tonight’s Middle School Girls Basketball games have been cancelled. Tonight’s Middle School & High School Wrestling match has been rescheduled for January 29.

🐑✨ Exciting News from the Ag Barn! ✨🐑 We are thrilled to announce that we now have sheep in our Ag Barn! Thanks to the generous help of Mr. Steve Beattie, a retired agriculture teacher from St. Louis, we’ve welcomed these wonderful ewes to our school. For years, Mr. Beattie has shared his sheep with schools like Alma, Breckenridge, and Ravenna to enhance Ag education, and we’re lucky to carry on this tradition! Currently, Ms. Spry’s 8th grade agriculture students are diving into the world of sheep, learning all about nutrition, record keeping, and the care of these animals. Everyone is especially excited for the upcoming lambing season, which should be happening in just a week or two! 🐑💕 The sheep will be with us here at Chippewa Hills until spring break, after which they will return to Mr. Beattie’s farm. A huge thank you to the FFA and FFA alumni for their help and support with this amazing hands-on learning opportunity!

REMINDER: Monday, January 20 is an early release day for students! The High School and Middle School will be released at 12 PM. Elementary Schools are released at 12:15 PM.

🛠️ Warrior students getting hands-on! 🛠️ Today, Mrs. Karcher’s Life After High School class got their hands a little greasy and learned the essential life skill of how to perform an oil change on a car. Senior Noah Morlan led the instruction, teaching his classmates how to change oil like a pro! 💪 A special thank you to Mr. Hatfield for letting the class use his shop and to senior Natalie Gibson for lending her car to the class. (It takes a true Warrior to trust your class with your ride!) Next time that oil light comes on, we know who we’re calling! 🚗

REMINDER: High School Parent-Teacher Conferences are tonight from 4-7 PM. Appointments are not needed and teachers will be available in their classrooms to meet with parents. Our Sophomore Class Parent Meeting is also tonight at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium. At this meeting, Mrs. Bloss will be covering everything students and parents need to know for students to prepare for their junior year. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Time to gear up for next year’s classes! Join us for our upcoming parent meetings for grade-specific information and to help your student update their Educational Development Plan (EDP). Mrs. Bloss has sent a number of emails to parents regarding these meetings, but we want to make sure you see it here, too! Please attend the session for your student’s current grade level: - Juniors: Thursday, January 9 - Sophomores: Wednesday, January 15 - Freshmen: Thursday, January 23 All meetings begin at 6:30 PM in the High School Auditorium.
