Did you know that students in our district have access to healthcare right at school? The Chippewa Hills Wellness Center, located within the Chippewa Hills secondary complex, is open Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM and provides essential medical services, including:
✅ Sick visits & injury treatment
✅ Sending medications
✅ Sports physicals & well-child visits
✅ Health education & Medicaid enrollment
✅ And much more!
Plus, the Warrior Wellness Center offers in-school counseling and mental health services to support student well-being.
The Chippewa Hills Wellness Center is available for ALL Chippewa Hills students. For appointments, call 989-967-2290. Please know that we will never treat your child without your consent—consent forms are available in your child’s school office or on our website here: https://www.chsd.us/page/wellness-center. Attention, Warrior families: This morning, our fire alarms were activated at the secondary complex due to a science experiment that didn’t quite go as planned. Everyone is safe, and the situation was handled swiftly.

Just a reminder about next week’s 8th grade parent meeting! The meeting is Thursday, January 30 at 6:30 PM in the High School auditorium.
This meeting is hosted by our High School Counseling Office and will cover high school class options and course pathways. They’ll also provide key deadlines and tips for a smooth transition to high school.

Hoops for Hunger update for Middle School families: The CMU Hoops for Hunger game is still playing today at 11 AM at McGuirk Arena. CMU has invited all CHMS students and their families to attend for FREE! Students must be accompanied by an adult. Check in at the ticket desk and indicate you are with Chippewa Hills Middle School.
Tonight’s Middle School Girls Basketball games have been cancelled. Tonight’s Middle School & High School Wrestling match has been rescheduled for January 29.
Now that school is closed for the day, we can share that the Hoops for Hunger game at CMU is still going to be played at 11:00 AM in McGuirk Arena. CMU has reached out and invited students and their families to still attend the game for free! CHMS will not have supervision there for students, so students should be accompanied by an adult. Students, their families, and CHMS staff will get into the game for free as long as they mention that they are coming from Chippewa Hills at the ticket counter. Unfortunately, the game will not be rescheduled for a future field trip this year.

Chippewa Hills schools will be under a 3-hour delay Wednesday, January 22. The Little Warriors program will open at their usual hours. Stay warm, Warriors!
Chippewa Hills schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 21 due to cold temperatures. Little Warriors will remain open. All athletics events and practices scheduled for Tuesday will be cancelled. All events scheduled for today will proceed as planned. Stay safe and warm, Warriors!
